Everlasting Elders Christmas in July – City of Bayswater
Our Everlasting Elders Christmas in July event brought together over 60 Elders and guests including government leaders come together for a festive day of connection, culture, and shared stories.
We were honoured to welcome some special guests on the day:

// The Mayor of the City of Bayswater, Filomena Piffaretti
Their presence wasn’t just ceremonial — it was meaningful.
When government leaders walk alongside community in genuine, face-to-face connection, it reflects a commitment to truth-telling, listening, and respect. These moments remind us that reconciliation is not a passive goal — it requires active participation from all sectors of society.
Intergenerational programs like Everlasting Elders are where bridges are built — between young and old, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal and the wider community.
