Commissioner for Corrective Services Meeting

In late January we had the pleasure of meeting with A/Commissioner of Corrective Services, Richard Curtis, along with his team and representatives from the Youth Justice team, to discuss the Djeelya Program.

Their positive feedback and support for the program was greatly appreciated. They acknowledged that our Djeelya program is unique and that there is a great need for such a preventative program. We are left optimistic about the potential collaboration with them and the impact it will have on empowering young Aboriginal women.

We look forward to walking with government together to drive meaningful change in our community, where it is most needed.
