His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, WA Governor Meeting

What an honour it was this morning to be invited to Government House to meet with His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, Governor of Western Australia and Mrs Dawson. It was a relaxed and humble meeting in beautiful surrounds and the Governor and Mrs Dawson were extremely interested in our achievements to date and the Djeelya Young Women’s program.

We were all touched with a parting gift from the Governor of honey from Government House garden. Particularly poignant as Djeelya is Noongar for wild bush honey.
