Jingili Primary School – Smiling Child Program Funding 2024

Whilst visiting the RedSpear office in Darwin this week, Spear Foundation Directors Barry McGuire and Francois Witbooi visited Jingili Primary School, Darwin, NT >to meet with Principal Di Sullivan.

Jingili PS are recipients of the Smiling Child Funds for this academic year to assist the school with student resources, to ensure that none of the children miss out our feel excluded at school.

This year, the Smiling Child funds at Jingili will ensure that 20 children who are in need, will not miss out and will receive:

– Resources – School bags, water bottles, shoes, hats, uniforms and books
– Excursions – swimming lessons and sport gala days
– Graduation costs – for 5 year 6 children

One of the families at the school have recently lost everything in a house fire, so these funds will also ensure that these 2 children have all the replacement school uniforms and equipment they need.

Our Smiling Child fund is really impactful to many primary school children in need in WA and NT. We focus on supporting schools in the geographic areas where the RedSpear Group of companies (Redspear Safety Pty Ltd and Safespear) operate from; Perth, Broome and Darwin.

We thank all of our industry partners, who’s ongoing support ensure we can continue to scale the Smiling Child Impact Program to more schools in these regions. Making a real difference to children who, without the funding, would feel excluded at school
